Membership Requirements

  1. Active participation in ALPFA events, activities and/or programs.

  2. Must be in good academic standards with CSULA.

  • Women of ALPFA - Launched to create opportunities for professional Latinas through leadership skills, training, mentoring, and career advancement.
  • Finance/Executive/Leadership Summits - Brings together a panel of business leaders to address topics such as leadership skills, diversity and challenges facing Latino professionals.
  • Executive Series - Designed specifically for mid-career and executive-level professionals with 10+ years of experience to network and learn from each other.
  • ALPFA Cares/Community Service - ALPFA partners with organizations such as VITA to give back to our communities.
  • ALPFA Student Symposiums - Designed specifically to foster professional development, training, and career growth.  Program includes: educational workshops, networking, luncheon, and Career Fair.
  • ALPFA's Annual Scholarship Program - The purpose of these scholarships is to encourage students who demonstrate excellence to continue to pursue their professional careers.  ALPFA has awarded almost $650,000 in scholarships over the last 6 years.
  • ALPFA KPMG Case Study Competition - This competition brings together accounting students from over 30 schools to solve complex accounting cases and present their findings to KPMG and ALPFA professionals at the Annual Convention.  The experience exposes students to the possibilities of what it may be like to work for a Big Four firm.
  • Annual National Convention - Four-day event that brings together members across the U.S. with professional and student workshops, networking, panel discussions, luncheons, award gala, career fair, and interview opportunities.
